who we are

Our board brings the governance, financial oversight, and community expertise that makes this work sustainable. They're here because they believe creative arts therapies belong at the center of community mental health care - not at its margins.

Nicole Piggott, LMHC, ATR-BC

FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

A licensed mental health counselor and board-certified art therapist with over a decade of experience in creative arts-based clinical practice, she is the founder and owner of Northwest Counseling & Art Therapy, Creative Harbor's founding contracted clinical partner, and brings deep expertise in expressive arts, trauma-informed care, and community-based mental health.

She founded Creative Harbor on a straightforward premise: the clinical talent needed to serve underserved communities already exists. What was missing was the nonprofit infrastructure to deploy it equitably. Creative Harbor is that infrastructure.

Lillian Martin

Lillian leads Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Washington's Allen School, where she builds strategic partnerships between industry and academia to drive research in computer science and engineering. Prior to this, she led account management at Visit.org and FiscalNote, helping Fortune 500 companies deliver on DEIA, corporate social responsibility, and policy advocacy goals.

Lillian believes that building infrastructure, not just goodwill, creates lasting impact, a lesson rooted in her early work with Mt. Airy Community Development Corporation in Philadelphia, where she saw firsthand the role community plays in sustainable, equitable development.

She is an advocate for creative, community-rooted approaches to healing and healthy communities. As President of the Board for Creative Harbor, Lillian is committed to building the infrastructure that allows existing clinical talent to reach underserved families equitably, here in her home of Seattle.
